This hotel was located in a very central area near to city centre, a quiet pub with great food and the Rutland Arms Inn. The staff was fabulous, fantastic.

Exceptional and super location in the centre city, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from Whanganui River.

Beds were quite small.

Staff was fantastically friendly and fairly friendly and hotel is clean and gorgeous! I took a generous-sized room with tea and updated touches, for example. The breakfast was complimentary with homemade Muesli; the location was fantastic. Liked my time here.

the location in a pretty comfortable area was super and there were supermarkets and shops nearby. there were restaurants and local restaurants around the hotel.

The overall features were good. Every staff member was outstandingly accommodating and consistently courteous. It was airy, tidy and with jacuzzi. The location of the hotel was great - at a medium distance from an underground elevator.

The restaurant was fabulous for dinner, we ordered amazing dishes. The location was good, within walking distance of a river and a park.

The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated in a Victorian style, giving them a charming character. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the attractions in town. Plus, the breakfast included in the cost was a pleasant surprise and a great start to the day.

Fairly clean and QUAINT place, delicious breakfast with a good choice of options. Perfect location, within walking distance of Ward Observatory.

The rooms were huge and elegantly decorated, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The manager of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. Additionally, the location of the hotel was centrally located, making it easy to access and explore the surrounding area.

There were several disappointing aspects of our stay. the complimentary continental breakfast was not up to par.

Possibly the best and perfectly pleasant stay for 2 nights. Very bright area, really handy and comfortable location, just off has an air of an English country inn, the establishment and the all the restaurants...

We absolutely loved our stay at this 4-star hotel! The location of this place is terrific, as it is right in the heart of town and within walking distance to all the main shops. The rooms were large and comfortable, with elegant decor and plenty of space to relax in. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The restaurant and bar downstairs were a great convenience, offering delicious food and a wide variety of drinks. We also appreciated the full breakfast and the fact that room service was available. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made our stay truly luxurious. We can't wait to come back and stay here again!

our recent stay in whanganui at rutland arms inn was simply amazing. the room was immaculate and comfortable, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the on-site restaurant served delicious food. we especially loved the small plates concept for dinner. the location was perfect too, with easy access to shops, bars, and river walks. overall, a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations.

We had a lovely stay at a well-positioned, cosy pub with great dining options and good facilities. The bar and dining room had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and our room had a clean, updated old world charm. The continental breakfast included in the room cost was generous and tasty. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its great location and excellent service.
